Oak Grove Cemetary (1 block)
Dating from 1837, this cemetary is the final resting place of 4 signers of the Texas Declaration of Independence, including Thomas J. Rusk.

Downtown Nacogdoches(2 blocks)
Downtown is just a short stroll away. There you can find numerous shops, the Visitor's Center and the Adolphus Stearn House.

Lanana Creek Trail (trailhead 3 blocks)
The Lanana Creek Trail is three miles of beautiful creekside path through the middle of Nacogdoches. The trail weaves through forest, Pecan Park and the Stephen F. Austin State University Arboretum.

Stephen F. Austin State University
The SFA campus is recognized as one of the most beautiful in the state of Texas and is characterized by tall pine trees and numerous species of flowers. The Stone Fort Museum is housed in a 1936 replica of Don Antonio Gil Y'barbo's stone house.
