Slow down and relax at the Hardeman House in the heart of Nacogdoches, the oldest town in Texas.  Enjoy an evening breeze on the wraparound porch under lazy ceiling fans while listening to the distant lonesome whistle of a train.  The Hardeman House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and pays tribute to her surrounding town and the Republic of Texas.  Take a minute to look back in time with an old magazine, or review one or more of the many historic books on Texas.  Enjoy a movie in your room from the DVD library or in the living room at your convenience.  Just relax in an amazing historic home furnished for your comfort.

The Hardeman House is also an excellent place for small gatherings of 25 or less, showers, teas, family gatherings, small parties, and receptions.  Contact us to arrange your event.

With a 48-hour notice, we can typically arrange for a fabulous, relaxing in-house or salon manicure, pedicure, or massage.

All of our rooms are non-smoking.  By city ordinance, no smoking is allowed within 20 feet of any entrance to the house.
